For centuries, hatmakers were renowned for their expertise and artistry.
Requiring intricate skill, the production of exceptional headwear was honed
and passed down from one generation to the next. Hats were not just
seasonal accessories, but lasting products of great value.
Picture this: a quaint hatmaker’s shop whose origins go back to 1890.
Decked out with bowler hats, trillbies and boaters, it tells the tale
of a long and colourful past.
In 1996, we had the unique opportunity to take over this company.
Sure, time had left its mark — the range of products was as outdated
as the business structure. But nonetheless, it tickled our
entrepreneurial spirit.
We immediately set out to revamp the company. We brought in new designers,
new factories, new technologies – and kept our eyes peeled for the latest trends and
innovative methods. We had to find new, efficient solutions for every single step.
And that is precisely how we handle things to this day.
We’ve preserved the boundless enthusiasm that inspired us to take over the company back in 1996. Every single day, we challenge ourselves to come up with radical solutions and ground-breaking ideas. And we are proud of the people we have had the honour to work with.
That’s why we continue to invest in traditional manufacture in Eastern Europe - to preserve the time - honoured expertise that we transform into outstanding quality and the latest designs. We are committed to building a sustainable future for the region.

to paddle against the current.
